Healthy Chocolate, Fruit and Nut Slice

It's taken me sometime to get this recipe out, but it will be worth the wait!!
As I am now approaching my next stage appearance I am extremely strict when it comes to my treat meal. This means NO SUGARS! My body doesn't process sugar very well anymore after clean eating for the past 8 years anyway so at least now when I indulge in this desert I won't have a sugar hang over and be a complete grump the following days after. I personally make a batch and freeze into portions for my next treat days. Obviously I am extremely strict at the present time so it depends on your health and fitness goals to the size of the portion and also how often you would indulge.

Choc, Fruit and Nut Slice

Ingredients

Dry
4 tbsp raw organic cocoa
30g dark chocolate coated cocoa nibs
2 tsp natvia or natural sweetener
74 grams choc protein powder
1/3 cup oat flour
1/4 cup crushed walnuts
4 dried figs diced

Wet
2 egg whites
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup organic almond milk
1/4 teaspoon organic vanilla bean paste

Icing
2 tbsp lite philadelphia cream cheese
1 tsp natvia
1 tbsp raw organic cocoa

Method
Pre heat the oven to 175C Fan Forced. Add all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Then mix in all of the wet ingredients until it is evenly blended. Add the mixture into a cake tin layered with baking paper. Should take 15 mins to bake, check by skewering the mixture and ensure the skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool for 10 minutes.

Icing
Place cream cheese into a mixing bowl. Stir in the natvia and cocoa until completely blended. Once the slice has cooled you can cover it with the mixture.

Enjoy and let me know what you think of the recipe xoxox
